So I finally caved…
posted in General |and started a blog of my own…
I really never thought of myself as a blogger. Yea, I love to write, but not usually for the general public. It’s not like I’m shy or anything, I just never really saw any need -until now.
You see, I’ve been knitting. And not just knitting, but thoroughly enjoying knitting. So I joined a local SnB, and have been spending a lot of time immersing myself in learning and practicing. I’ve found tons of other knitting blogs, and bulletin boards and have basically become a sponge absorbing up all that is kntting.
Knitters Review Forums has a secret pal thing going on, which seemed really fun, and I joined. Most of the secret pal folks have blogs where they proudly post the goodies they receive, and tease about the things they may be sending to their own secret pals (along with things that make me wish I could speed up my learning – wow some of those projects are INCREDIBLE!). It’s a really good way for your secret pal to get to know you better too. So, between that, and wanting a tangible way to track my own progress, I decided to take the plunge.
And now, here we are. Need to set this thing up all the way which I will probably play with over the next week or so. In between knitting, of course *s*
