2 minutes
posted in General |Short on time again, but I have 2 things to point you to that will let you do something good in about 2 minutes each.
1st, Aimee (of Fairie Knits blog, and podcast) is participating in the Lupus Walk and is having (in her words!) a “thank you drawing. For every $5 you donate to the walk, [she] will put your name in a hat and draw for some FABULOUS prizes!!!!” Donating couldn’t be easier – just got to her Walk Page, click on Make a Gift! In the comments, put podcast or blog or something that tells her you are a knitter, and she will enter you. If you want to see the prizes, just go to her blog and scroll thru the past few entries – there’s TONS of great stuff available, and all you have to do is give a little. EVERY little bit helps, as you all know.
2nd, if you haven’t seen Scout’s blog in the past few days, please go read this post, and take a few minutes to follow the related links. 2 minutes of your time to help put a stop to this. There are just no words.
That’s it from here – we’re at T-minus 14 days and counting for the closing. There is SO much going on right now and I barely have had any time to watch TV – let’s not even discuss Grey’s or Private Practice until sometime Sunday, when I will definitely have had time to watch both. I know, bad fan I am, but seriously, despite all of the planning, we are scrambling to do all the last minute stuff. Right now, my lists have lists. I’m not complaining, I am excited and nervous and happy, and thrilled at all the good coming my way, just a little tired and overwhelmed. I am very much looking forward to settling in to my new home, and getting back into a knitting and blogging groove.
