Thinking ahead
posted in 2007 WIPs and Knitting |I know I mentioned my insane spur of the moment idea to join the new Secret of the Stole, and thanks to L & V, I think I have found a good training project to start once the cardi is done. This not only helps me narrow done my next project cast on choices, but it will also help get me in a lace mindset. Plus, it is a great Christmas gift to boot!
Yes, I am scheming planning ahead to my next cast on. No, sadly I didn’t finish the baby cardi this weekend. I finished the body Saturday night at the football draft party though, and knocked out more than half the 1st sleeve yesterday in between my other Sunday activities. (When I get home from work, I will update the post to add a progress shot, the one I took last night is kinda blurry and less than flattering).
I can’t believe it’s Monday. S’ok though, because at least there is a 3 day weekend coming up – probably the last weekend before we start packing this place up. Yikes! 
We stopped by the house yesterday to check in, and there haven’t been any major updates – just little fixes here and there (hence no new pics). We also started gathering paint samples to match up, and attempting to plan out some rooms. Not that we have furniture to fill the rooms mind you…
I usually don’t like to fast forward my time, but I would not mind this week hurrying along at all… and speaking of, gotta get my butt in gear. Happy Monday!
